Caitlin Thwaites (born 29 December 1986) is an Australian netball and volleyball player. In 2011 Thwaites made the move across the Tasman to join the Central Pulse in the ANZ Championship, and plays in her known position of GS. .[1] Thwaites has also represented Australia in women's volleyball.[2] In 2009, Thwaites played her first game against World 7 in the second half. Caitlin Thwaites was named as one of the 23 Australian netball players for the Australian selection camp. Thwaites played a vital role in the Central Pulse in 2011, scoring 431 goals for an accuracy percentage 81.3 per cent. Caitlin thought she was ineligible for selection because she played for a New Zealand team. [3] Thwaites was the only player from a New Zealand team to make selection. [4]
